When I was in 4th grade, I started playing the violin. I continued to do so through high school and it became a pretty important part of my life. Even today, I will occasionally listen to classical music and always enjoy it.

This weekly event is a something that looks to be educational and spiritual at the same time. Violins of Hope starts today and runs through March 27th, 2019.

This event features free days as well as paid concerts (we actually missed Gil Shaham this past weekend). The free exhibition shows the stringed instruments that survived the Holocaust. Some of the owners perished and others luckily made it out alive.

It is held at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts in Old Town. It is open on Monday through Saturday between 10 and 5 and Sunday between 12 and 5.

Other events and concerts and be here at Violins of Hope.
