Weekly Event: Kierland Pop

As hard as it is to believe, the Holiday season is right around the corner. Thanksgiving is next week and that leads right into the start of the madness.

To get a head start, stop by Kierland Pop this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Kierland. Throughout the weekend, there will be art features, culinary delights, fashion displays, and also a 5k run/walk.

Friday features the Charity Night. For $50, you will receive tastings from some of the most renowned restaurants in the area. Nellie Cashman's, Mastro's Ocean Club, Deseo, and more will all have samples. On top of that, wineries and breweries will be on hand sampling libations. Compared to most food and wine festivals, this is an absolute deal.

Saturday hosts the Kierland POP Art and Music Festival. From 10-5, this free event will have live music, live painting, and much more. There is also a "Junk in the Trunk" market close by for crafts. Saturday evening is the Kierland Pop 5k. This 5k wanders around Kierland and concludes with appetizers and drinks by Tommy Bahamas.

Lastly, Sunday is the Slider Throwdown. For $35, you can try a slider from multiple food trucks. You'll vote on who has the best one. The price also includes two drinks.
